Job Responsibilities :

First contact for engineering/ CAD level support from supplier
Assure data transfer between Daimler and supplier
Train and develop supplier to use Daimler methods for Catia modeling and drawings.

Train supplier in the Daimler Change management process
Research and provide Specifications, MB Norms to supplier
Documentation related to release and change management system

Skill Requirements :

CAD CATIA V5 Engineer with working level knowledge of various automotive exterior components

Experience in design of sheet metal parts, Bumper, Hood, Splash panel, Rear view mirror, Bezel, Grab Handle, Spoiler, Air deflector, Foot step, Fender, Insulation / seals

Knowledge of global quality standard requirements. Knowledge of Daimler AG, specific quality standards will be an added advantage.

CAD Data Exchange tools know how support for supplier.  
Knowledge of change management systems
Good communication skills
