Job Responsibilities :
Design support to supplier. Previous work experience with European automotive OEM’s will be added advantage
RFQ support, Provide technical information for RFQ, Technical evaluation of RFQ
Discuss technical specification / information with supplier, Clarify Testing requirements with supplier
Skill Requirements :
Knowledge of manufacturing processes as Casting, Forging, Sheet Metal will be an added advantage
Product development engineer with component design and development knowledge on Automotive Interiors and Lighting components – Involved in development of doors, door trims, headliners, centre console, pillar trims, armrests, Ducts for air conditioners, lightings.
Plastic tooling knowledge will be added advantage
Working level knowledge of various automotive systems and sub-systems(Passenger Cars)
Knowledge of PPAP requirements.
Knowledge of problem solving techniques. (8D / 5W)
Excellent communication skills, people management skills.
Knowledge of negotiating quotes and costing related to component / production tools.
Knowledge of global quality standard requirements. Knowledge of Daimler AG, specific quality standards will be an added advantage.
