Provide leadership to the team in the areas of
- Software design and architecture
- Translating customer / business requirements into design
- Technologies like core Java, Database (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft SQL)
- Good knowledge of Unix operating system (Linux/Solaris/HP)
- Ensuring the analysis of all requirements, translating them into appropriate design
- Following all Subex defined development processes strictly
- Responsible for the development of new product modules with very good quality and as per defined timelines
- Should coach and mentor the development team monitoring the daily activities, feedback, goal setting and perform performance appraisals
Very good knowledge of core Java, Database skills (either Oracle or Microsoft
SQL database) Very good knowledge of programming UI interfaces preferably using
web technologies (GWT, JSF etc.) Should have developed and designed large scale
software products (enterprise class) Should be able to design generic frameworks
Should have worked in telecom domain and knowledgeable about telecom networks
Should have worked in the software development of telecom OSS / BSS products
(e.g. billing systems, mediation systems etc.) Ensure the development of
solution with the help of development engineers. Monitor the progress of the
project. Defect tracking and logging after release (technical). Single point
contact for the team for all technical issues. Should be able to Pair programme
(on demand) and review of the code produced .
