Title : Design Engineer Interior(aero)

WORK DESCRIPTION: 

• Responsibilities include basic design work, drafting, incorporating Drawing Change Notices and drawing conversions using CATIA
• Ability to interpret complex 2D drawings in space coordinate system
• Experience in plastics and sheet metal aerospace interiors

• Will research pertinent data as an aid in determining the best approach to the assignment
• Must have strong knowledge in basic design principles, aerospace standards and sheet metal component design
• Actively works to improve quality, efficiency and ensures all work meets customer requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering or equivalent combination of appropriate education experience
• 3-5 years experience in designing aircraft structural parts and interiors design
• Proficient  in CATIA V5 (GSD, Part design, Drafting, Assembly, Knowledge Expert)
• Knowledge in CATIA V4 and VPM preferred
• Motivated self-starter who has ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good communication and organizational skills
