Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the CCE Manager, Group Product Managers and the New Product Development teams to ensure the “Voice of the Customer” is integral to the development of design specifications for new products and modifications to existing products
Cooperate with CCE Product Group Lead Engineers to develop performance and test criteria for new products and product upgrades
Provide an independent test and proving function able to provide full reporting of Product Performance, failure mode and conformance to legislation / product specification needs.
Design appropriate testing regimes for New Product Development ensuring common standards across all product groups
Ensure that all information is recorded, documented and stored centrally (i.e. Site Log, Engine Hours, Machine Performance, Site Reports, Test Data, Performance Data, Service History, Issues and Snags etc.)
Identify and appraise possible test locations while ensuring that the prototype objectives / requirements are clearly defined to our dealers and customers
Flexible in terms of hours worked and travel on short notice when and where is necessary

Qualifications:
6-8 years Experience with the development, test and successful launch to market of CCE.
Graduate degree required.
A good understanding of the various applications that the equipment can operate in along with an appreciation for the expected performance of the machines.
Good technical expertise in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
Experience in Strain gauging of structural components and Digital validation, accelerated life cycle testing etc.
Basic knowledge of Reliability growth studies.
Hands-On and a practical person with an interest in the development of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
Knowledge and familiarity with various test equipment and be capable of the instrumentation of a machine to record various machine performance outputs.
Interpret the data acquired from instrumentation, and work with design team leaders to develop corrective action
Creativity, innovative thinking and excellent problem solving skills.
Good English communication skill, both written and spoken;
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
Excellent project management skills
Good Presentation and interpersonal skills
