An ability to provide design support and ability to use CATIA V4/V5 to support design review. Prior experience in reviewing and approving drawings from structures point of view is an added advantage
 Ability to coordinate with Design group, Manufacturing,Test and Damage Tolerance groups as well as other groups
An ability to approve drawings for structural integrity and compliance to the FARs (Federal Aviation Regulations) in a timely manner
 Able to document analyses in formal reports for FAA approval
 Analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
 May review and approve supplier drawings, stress reports and test reports
 Exhibit a desire and ability for increased responsibility
Conducts research, calculations, and estimates of projects to meet or exceed established specifications. Performs assignments utilizing frequent application engineering principles, structural analysis methods and industry processes
 Performs assignments utilizing frequent application engineering principles, structural analysis methods and industry processes and analysis software
 Assures supervision awareness of project  status, opportunities and successes, provides periodic project reviews and updates presentations
18. Continually strives to improve job skills and technical knowledge through continuing education and/or research into advanced structural analysis methods
Performs assignments/tasks in a professional manner and acts as a mentor to spread and heighten knowledge base of the Engineering organizations
Promotes quality initiatives for continuous improvement

 Engineer should have good understanding of aircraft static stress analysis using classical methods
 Clear understanding of aircraft loads and stress analysis methods is a plus but not a must
 Exhibit an ability to perform an undefined analysis task under limited supervision within a set schedule
 Exhibit an ability to perform stress analysis of Primary/Secondary Airframe Structures
 Understanding of materials and properties
 Familiarity with strengths of standard aviation materials is a plus but not a must
 Ability to verify structural integrity by using and developing
  analytical methods
