Job Responsibilities
Steering system selection, design & packaging. Preparation & release of drawings.
Concept feasibility studies
Design for manufacture & assembly
Conversant with manufacturing techniques of sheet metal forming & welding

Education & Training
BE or Masters in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Relevant Experience Required
5+ years of experience in CATIA V5
Overall 3+ years of domain experience in design of steering systems & packaging of steering systems for trucks
OEM experience required / Experience with Tier 1 manufacturers in the area steering systems design & development with Tier 1’s
Good vehicle Engineering Design and Vehicle Packaging Experience. Experience in design for manufacture & design for assembly
Strong mechanical engineering background
Knowledge in Vehicle products and Specifications

Skill Requirements
Proficiency in CatiaV5 : GSD, Part Design, Sketcher, assembly Design, Sheet-metal Design, Drafting, DMU,
Conduct feasibility study of Vehicle packaging
Good communication skills with English.
