Experience-                  Minimum of 5 years experience with a MS  in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or PhD with 3 years experience.

Qualification                 Minimum of a MS degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering

Requirement:

• Strong analytical and simulation skills required Self-motivation, follow-through, organizational skills, and the ability to work with other departments are necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
• Background in unsteady aerodynamics, flutter,  helicopter rotor dynamics, control law theory, aerodynamics, and aeroelasticity is required 
• Background in FORTRAN and C++ programming required
• Experienced user of CATIA V4 and V5

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop an efficient and robust helicopter rotor blade flutter analysis code for use in the design process. Correlate the analysis code with existing test data and other analyses. Modify an existing tiltrotor aeroelastic stability code to increase the capability to analyze aeroservoelastic stability in all flight modes of a tiltrotor aircraft. Evaluate stability of tiltrotor configurations for design variations. Develop a highly integrated and user friendly GUI interface between CATIA and VABS 2D rotor blade structural analysis code to enable rapid design evaluations. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for modifying and enhancing existing rotor blade flutter analysis code for evaluating advanced rotor configurations. Candidate will be required to create code in FORTRAN and C++  to link existing analysis codes into an integrated analysis package.  Candidate will utilize the code for evaluating advanced rotor configurations and optimizing design for improved aeroelastic stability.   Candidate will be required to enhance an existing tiltrotor stability code to enable accurate predictions of aeroservoelastic stability through all operating modes of a tiltrotor and coordinate this effort with management team in Company facility.  Candidate will be required to develop an interface with CATIA design data for the rotor system and interface this data with the VABS 2D section property analysis code for evaluating rotor design configurations. Candidate will be responsible for making this interface operate efficiently in the design environment installed in US.  The candidate will be required to interface weekly with an analysis team in US for and  fully document research investigations. The candidate will be required to travel to US for a 4 month training and familiarization program on the analysis, and infrequent travel for 1 week coordination meetings.
