Job Purpose:

The candidate shall be responsible for testing any of the ACBU projects being tested in Bangalore.
The engineer will take ownership of the testing of certain aspects of a project and will be responsible for delivering the software test results on a timescale agreed with the group leader. Mentoring will provided from more experienced engineers.Tasks will be well defined and the engineer is expected to work with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities:

Test ACBU projects with a combination of Automation and Manual test cases
Adhere to team’s processes and documentation guidelines
Tests software to agreed timescales under moderate supervision;
Writes software test scripts;
Maintenance of software test scripts including defect investigation
Review and give feedback on test related documents and processes

Required:

Good programming skills in C, Python, Perl or any of the scripting languages.
Experience in testing BT gaming devices
Experience in creation of test cases
Overall testing experience of around 4 years with at least 2 years in system testing Bluetooth Profiles.
Engineering degree in CompSc/Electronics or equivalent
Knowledge of Frontline air sniffer and debugging the logs
Good communicator
Experience in working in a multi-site environment.
Knowledge of test plans/strategy
Good knowledge of software test cycles and SDLC

Desired:

Experience of wireless communication protocols such as UWB or Wi-Fi
Experience of running PTS tests, creation of PTS test plan
Experience of using GUI testing tools like: Ranorex, Winbatch, Silk test etc.
Experience in testing different BT products like Mobiles, PCs, remote control etc.
Knowledge of PTS testing
