JOB DESCRIPTION
1.Thorough knowledge of plant breeding principles and hard working nature
2.Proven track record in a conventional breeding program, with strong knowledge of modern technical approaches to yield testing, mechanization.
3. Experience in rice breeding and testing
4.Reasonable field research experience
5.Proficient in the applications of software programs for data analysis and interpretation.
6.Able to travel extensively.
7.Excellent leadership and people skills, with effective verbal communication, and ability to thrive in a team based work environment.
Requirements:
1)Ph.D or M.Sc in Plant Breeding and Genetics with 5-7 years of relevant experience in Rice.
2)Demonstrated success in developing successful new varieties.
