Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer/Design engineer

Education and Experience:

• BE Mechanical or Equivalent with 2-3 years experience in Product design.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Experience in Product Design using 3D cad Software(Solid works Preferred)
• Should have knowledge in designing of Plastic Components, Casting and Machining.
• Should be strong in Engineering Fundamentals.
• Familiarity with ASME Y14.5M-1994.
• Should have Experience in GD&T.
• Should have Strong Communication Skills.

Essential Job functions:

• Perform all duties within the Company Business Conduct Guidelines.
• Understand and comply with the requirements of the Management System.
• Work effectively with Product Managers, engineers and other personnel as needed.
• With limited assistance from other engineering personnel should able to execute Design Projects, Reverse Engineering Projects, 2D to 3D Conversion , Prepare detail Drawings, sub-assembly drawings, assembly drawings and other engineering specifications necessary to manufacture prototypes and products.
• Initiate required changes to engineering documents as instructed by engineers on Engineering Change Notices.
• Perform tolerance analysis in keeping with drafting and standard engineering department practices and Procedures.
• Communicate improvements and suggestions to the department manager.
• Understand what is expected of the position and take responsibility for doing top quality work.
• Adhere to safe practices and procedures.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to the Satisfaction of their Manager.
