Requirement

1.      Critical o Hands-on experience in any one of the commercial performance testing tools

2.      Good knowledge in scripting

3.      Good knowledge of communication protocols

4.      Hands-on experience in data analyzing, identifying bottlenecks (e.g. how to interpret scatter charts)

5.      Reporting

6.      Communication & Influencing

7.      Good communication skills are imperative. 

Desired –

1.      Good experience in usage modeling

2.      Good experience in designing performance test scenarios o Good experience in preparing test data.

3.      Good experience in setting up performance test environment

4.      Has exposure to any one test management tool like Quality Centre

5.      Involved in Requirement, Design reviews o Has very good attention to detail Desired

6.      Good knowledge in preparing plans and strategies

7.      Good database knowledge

8.      Experience in using raw data to prepare test scripts (e.g. by using Fiddler/Pylot etc.)

9.      Exposure to different operating systems

10.  Exposure to network monitoring tools like Ethereal o Knowledge of ISO/CMM processes

Roles & Responsibilities:  

·        We’re looking for excellent verbal & written communication skills and we’re definitely looking for that person who can freely involve UK people in 2-way conversation.

·        Must be to justify a decision.

·        Problem Solving - able to provide examples where they’ve solved problems; both on a technical or project basis. We’re especially looking for project-based problem solving skills.

·        Have they pro-actively spotted problems which are delaying test cycles, or network prep, and tackled them before they become a problem

·        Experience in testing in all its forms – exploratory testing, functional / system testing, regression testing, negative testing / stress testing, ability to generate meaningful test reports, analyze and report on test results to stakeholders
