Experience:  5 to 12 Years

Educational Qualification : BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA

Job Location : Bangalore

Skill : DBA with Unix or Linux or Aix

Oracle DB implementations, maintenance, trouble shooting and administration.

Note :  Day shift , but willing to work  on call support 24x7

• Proven technical ability to manage multiple complex and diverse projects concurrently
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels and to work independently without direct supervision
• Knowledge of the physical database/system design
• Knowledge of database and system backup and recovery
• Knowledge of database/system data integrity and security management
• Able to do database tuning and performance monitoring
• Able to do application tuning and performance monitoring
• Able to do database code migration, change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle
• Database Performance
• Database modeling, and performance tuning of medium-to-large database applications.

Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification 

• 5+ years of Oracle database administration
• Strong analysis & written communication skills and team orientation. Minimal supervision, must be self-driven.
• Experience working with Windows, Solaris, and/or Linux based systems.
• Hands on Unix experience, ability to write database centric scripts in shell, perl is mandatory.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time is a mandatory.
• Experience with / willingness to work on open source database platforms like post gre, nosql databases.
• Experience in Java with J2EE based application development is a big plus.
• Experience with JBoss.
• Experience with managing database environments in the cloud.
• Work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
