Job Summary :
The Service Delivery Portal Engineer/Administrator
will be a technical expert in the field of Web and Portal infrastructure
technology.
Will participate in portal change management process. Manages the look, feel, and functionality of the portal interfaces.
Will be responsible to implement solutions for Internet, Intranet & Extranet site development and usage through secure processes.
Must have strong written and verbal
communication skills; deep understanding of Internet technologies (software and
hardware), computer technologies, and technological advancements; advanced
knowledge of data, file structures, and databases, experience with multi-tier
architecture; experience in web development and network operating systems;
knowledge of software development and programming principles, methods and
terminology; strong problem-solving skills; and understanding of general
business needs and requirements. Candidate must understand project management
methodology and be able to follow the formal documented processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Requires
knowledge of UNIX, NT, Network, Shell Scripting, web and portal server
technology.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, verbal and written
communication skills and a strong commitment to Customer Service
• Three or
more years experience with web and portal administration
• Requires
knowledge of Sun Portal technology to include SUN portal server
• Requires
knowledge of Sun Portal Gateway technology
• Requires knowledge of Sun
Identity Server technology
• Bachelor’s degree or related field experience
is preferred
• Requires knowledge of LDAP, Web development languages (i.e.,
Java, JavaScript, CGI, Pearl) and content formats of HTML and XML

Understanding of Netscape, iPlanet, IIS or Apache
• Experience in managing
Weblogic Application server.
• Understanding of virtualization and its use.
• Experience in Java or C# with a preference toward Java.
• Experience
in build tools such as Ant or Maven.
• Understand the different web
application frameworks.
• Experience in a CMS system and its management
