The candidate’s responsibility includes development,
validation and maintenance of the Verilog simulation models for standard cells physical IP.
Along with them we would have complete ownership of the ATPG models that are used in
DFT flows of a SoC. The role offers a potent opportunity to interact with accomplished circuit
designers worldwide for design of best in class Physical IPs on the latest technologies nodes
like 28nm, 22nm etc. Candidate would serve as interface between the engineering teams and
the third party EDA vendors to track resolution of issues associated with front end validation
tools like Functional simulators, LEC, STA etc.
IP Validation development
The candidate
would be involved in defining/updating the methodology for validation of Standard cells and
Interface IPs, understanding the requirements of circuit designers spanning multiple client's
sites worldwide. He is expected to work closely with software team for the implementation
and validation of the flows in order to create most efficient and high quality solutions for the
users. The candidate’s proficiency either in front end or back end tools would be critical for
methodology definition. He is expected to be proactive in supporting the flows developed by
the design automation team.
Required Technical Skills:
Experience: 2 - 5 yrs.
Bachelors or
Masters Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent
Good
understanding of CMOS design and SoC concepts would be essential
Experience
with Verilog behavioral model
Experience with Front end flows using EDA
tools like Simulation, Synthesis and Logic
Equivalence
Familiar with
Analysis tools like Timing, Power, Noise or Back end tools like Place and Route,
Extraction etc.
Working knowledge of scripting tools (Perl, TCL)
Familiar with source control systems like CVS or SVN
Desirable
Technical Skills:
Experienced with ATPG modeling and DFT tools
Working knowledge of CPF/ UPF - Low power flows
Familiar with the
concepts of cycle based simulation
Working knowledge of SoC designs
Working knowledge of EDA flows for implementation, system and software
development
Experience with Java based software development
