Job Location: Chennai

Experience: 6 to 9

Job Description:

 Define test strategy; write test plans and test cases for all EMS/NMS components.

 Develop automation scripts and tools to facilitate in testing client/server applications as well as regression tests.

 Implement, maintain automated tests that provide feature and performance/scalability
Participate in defect review meetings and work with development engineers to identify, isolate and resolve defects.

 Document test progress & reports.

 Design and configure the test bed

Requirements:-

Major skills required:

 4 years or more of EMS/NMS test experience.

 Solid understanding of FCAPS functionality

 Experience in data/telecom networking field

 Effective communication skills, flexibility, a strong teamwork approach

Desirable skills:

 Experience in working with SNMP, Java, WebUI and CLI.

 Hands-on development skills with automated GUI test tools such as SilkTest or WinRunner

Good to have:

 Experience in script language such as Tcl, or Perl
