Roles and responsibility for Network Testing Engineer Openings in Bangalore & Chennai:

Network Testing Engineer Openings in Bangalore & Chennai

  Following are the technical requirements.

 

1)       Expertise in Layer 2/ Ethernet concepts. Working of core Ethernet features from specs like 802.1q (VLAN), 802.1p (QoS) and spanning tree.

2)       Expertise in L3 TCP/IP concepts. General networking fundamentals should be strong.

3)       Exposure to WiFi (802.11) concepts. 802.11n is desirable, but not mandatory.

4)       Expertise in scripting with TCL or other language. Exposure to TCL test harnesses or scripting for a GUI automation tool like Winrunner or SilkTest.

5)       Experience in test tools like Ixia or SmartBits,

6)       Experience in test tools like Azimuth/Veriwave etc. for RF/ 802.11 testing.

7)       Experienced in the engineering life cycle.
