Eligibility Criteria:

Years of Experience: 8 years - 18 years
Educational qualification: B.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech (Mechanical or equivalent ) post graduate degree preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Leads group of engineers at Our Client India performing day-to-day mechanical engineering design activities for multiple products across Our Client
Owns mechanical engineering technical disciplines at Our Client India across multiple Our Client products, e.g., design of chemical delivery subsystems, structural frames
Interacts with engineering managers at US-based Our Client Product Groups regarding work-flow and in delivering results
Assigns & manages mechanical engineering work responsibilities to individual engineers in response to requests from Product Groups in the US

Mandatory Skills

Prior experience in managing team of mechanical engineers working on multiple projects
Experience with the use of Pro-Engineer or equivalent 3-D CAD package in the design of large assemblies and major subsystems
Experience with development of vendors and interaction with them in concurrent engineering role
Experience in managing off-shore engineering teams supporting companies across the globe
Demonstrated skill in decision making and problem solving
Experience with capital equipment (for e.g., chemical process, medical instrumentation, aircraft, etc.) industry in a sub-system design function

Desirable Skills:

Experience in semiconductor or solar equipment industry
Experience in working with cross-disciplinary teams (including electrical, software, process, manufacturing engineers) for major projects
Experience in the selection of materials and fabrication processes for metal, ceramic, and plastic parts
Experience in managing Engineering Change Order process for major manufacturer
