JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Provide Material and Process engineering support for the various engineering and production activities associated with design and manufacture of aerospace components and assemblies including:

1)      perform statistical analysis of material test data to support supplier qualification and design properties;

2)      write / revise material and process specifications;

3)      evaluate and support regional suppliers;

4)      design review;

5)      Write engineering reports.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

BE/MS in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.  A minimum of 5 years experience aerospace materials. Must be fluent in English with good oral communication and writing skills.  Must be proficient with PC based computer software applications.  Experience with fasteners and fastener testing would be a plus.
