Roles and responsibility for Manager, MNC Client, Bangalore :

IREG/TADIG Manager Opening with Product MNC in Bangalore

Requirements :

Experience : 12 – 16 Years

Qualification : BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA

Location :– Bangalore

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • 65% Managerial Support:

  1.  
    1. Develop budget and staffing requirements on an annual basis

    2. Assist employees with career development plans

    3. Attend project/product related meetings

    4. Build, administer and report on project plans

    5. Create/perform performance reviews and merit increases for staff

    6. Participate in upper management meetings when necessary

    7. Resolve internal/external conflicts as needed

    8. Ensure standard GSM, TADIG/IREG processes and procedures are implemented and followed

  1. 35% Support

  •  
    1. Manage the development and maintenance of IREG testing procedures and adhere to all business processes and GSM standards

    2. Manage the IREG/TADIG switching & signaling support for Roaming Partner set up

    3. Ensure switch/network translations for the establishment of roaming services is set-up timely and correctly

    4. Manage test plan and schedule

  1. Develop budget and staffing requirements on an annual basis

  2. Assist employees with career development plans

  3. Attend project/product related meetings

  4. Build, administer, and report on project work plans

  6. Coordinate with customers, roaming partner, 3rd party HW & SW vendors to establish support & resolve problems

Job Requirements:

 

  1. 12+ years Software Engineering experience, with 8+ years of Managerial or Technical Lead positions of increasing complexity and scope of responsibility.

  2. Required Technical Skills

    • Detailed knowledge of IREG/TADIG testing methodologies & practices

    • Detailed knowledge of Software Development processes

    • Functional understanding of company applications

  3. Required Interpersonal Skills

    • Understand corporate level goals and objectives

    • Ability to ascertain “across the board” impact of decisions

    • Customer service orientation – responsiveness, politeness

    • Ability to communicate with upper management and executives

    • Effective business communication – oral and written

    • Ability to understand issues on both a technical and non-technical level

    • Positive attitude – optimism

    • Foster a hard working, dynamic team environment

  4. Required Project Management Skills

    • Development of WBS/project plan

    • Estimating project workload

    • Provide work direction for staff

    • Assessing project risk

    • Ensure project time reporting is performed

    • Progress tracking for project/tasks

    • Escalate issues to upper management when appropriate

 

  1. Application Specific

    • Wireless/telecommunications knowledge

    • Thorough understanding of application features, operationally and functionally

 

  1. Travel: 30%

    • May be at client location for 2-4 weeks at a time

    • Must have valid passport to travel
