Responsibilities

This is a broad job with a broad set of responsibilities.You have a knack for designing and developing software to drive business process and company-wide productivity improvements. You will become an expert on Our Client's product development process and will be responsible for finding ways our client can bring software to market faster.
You will be responsible for whole systems, based out of Bangalore, not just parts of systems in the US. You will be empowered to make strategic and technical decisions for your team and for Our client. The systems that you build will have a first order impact on Our Client's continued growth.

Role : Manager - Engineering

Basic Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field.
Overall Experience: 7-10 years of combined experience as both a developer/architect and manager/team lead on mission critical applications. At least two years of management/team lead experience.
A proven track record in hiring, managing, and setting direction of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Experience coordinating with remote teams.
A strong development background in at least two of Java/J2EE, Perl, Ruby, Python, C/C++, or .Net.


Desired Qualifications

Web development experience
Experience with application administration
Management experience in all stages of the software development life cycle. Experience with Agile Software Development methodology
Strong experience with database-backed applications
