Position:Lead Engineer-Structure
Responsibilities:
Support Current and New product design and development projects as required both within EMEA Engineering and the Corporate Technology group.
Provide supervision, coaching and guidance to subordinate Engineers in order to facilitate achievement of their goals according to Company Engineering best practice.
Prepare product design assumptions, product layout, and preliminary cost evaluation, conduct design & marketing reviews, prepare product development plan, Structure EBOM.
Be capable of preparing 3D CAD installation layout designs and associated 2D.
Fully contribute to local and EMEA Engineering continuous improvement activities.
Provide internal engineering administration support to manage BOM, Drawings release.
Location:Bangalore
Experience:7-9 Years
7-9 years preferably in Construction or off highway equipment manufacturing in the field of Structures (Chassis, Undercarriage, Boom, Dipper etc.), packaging and overall integration into vehicle.
Strong knowledge of MS tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Project.
Good knowledge of PRO-E.
Good knowledge of GD&T.
Basic design Fundamentals clarity.
Good knowledge BOM Creation, ECN and ECR. BOM, Drawings release.
