• 12-15 years in design preferably in Cranes and Heavy Material Handling products

Position: Lead Engineer – Heavy material Handling Products

Overview:

The Lead Engineer is to lead or support the major design projects from India in active collaboration with Company Business Segment engineering groups. The design could involve one or more the following sub-systems and systems integration -

• Design of Booms: Lattice booms or Telescopic booms
• Design of Jibs
• Design of Counter-weights
• Kinematics of Cranes
• Cranes specific load-moment calculations
• Systems Integration including Electrical, Electronics and Hydraulics

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of designers and engage with Company Global Engineering teams in a variety of Design projects - Determine feasibility of designs, considering costs, time limitations, planning and other technical and economic factors. _ Ensure product meets the marketing feature, cost and quality requirements. _ Produce white papers and technical reports in order to secure external R&D funding. _ Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.E / M.E (Mechanical)
• 12-15 years in design preferably in Cranes and Heavy Material Handling products
• Good knowledge of SolidWorks / PRO-E.
• Good knowledge of GD&T
• Good design Fundamentals and hands-on Design validation using FEA methods
• Good knowledge BOM Creation, ECN and ECR.
• Go-getter attitude with strong belief in team work and effective planning.
• Good cross-cultural experience
