Desired Skills
Structural dynamics or aeroelastics background is essential.
Knowledge of loads methodologies & certification processes would be an advantage.
Hands-on experience on simulation tool such as NASTRAN and LMS Virtual Lab.Motion.
Experience in the use of engineering programming languages (particularly Matlab/Fortran/MathCAD) is desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization, & time management skills are required.
The position requires the ability to work well independently with little guidance.
The position requires the ability to lead a team and coordinate with others in the United States.
Job Description
Responsible for analysis assignments related to dynamics and structural dynamics of aircraft. Responsibilities also include technical and managerial oversight of other dynamic loads engineers and coordination with work priority planners in the United States. Assignments support design and certification efforts on Cessna’s full product range of aircraft and will also include technical process improvement.
Areas of job assignments will involve:
Frequency and/or time- domain structural analysis of aircraft structure
Develop external loads acting on aircraft structure due to atmospheric turbulence.
Impact, landing and taxi loads analysis using multi-body dynamic simulation.
Landing gear loads analysis.
