Responsibilities

        Design and Specification:

• Able to specify implementation for simple designs
• Able to design and document a feature of moderate scope.

        Implementation:

• Implement, test, and debug a feature of moderate scope. 
• Dig-in and understand existing implementations with limited mentoring.

–        Process:

• Follows Ixia documented development practices and standards.
• Able to use tools, programming techniques, and debug techniques

–        Bugs: Able to find root cause and fix moderate bugs in their scope of ownership

–        Level of independence: General supervision and some mentoring provided.

–        Typical Experience: 2+ Years

Position Requirements:

• Knowledge of protocols and hands on experience in implementation of L4-7 suite of protocols.
• Strong coding (C), testing, debugging and architectural skills
• Experience in network/socket/network security software programming, network applications (client-server, peer to peer) development
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong in data structures and algorithms
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environment, knowledge of administration and advanced usage of such systems is a plus.
• Experience working with networking products (L2-L7) of major network equipment vendors or networking application solution providers is a plus.
• Experience in kernel coding/device drivers is a plus.
• Strong English oral and written communication skills, ability to articulate and communicate technical concepts.

Qualification and Average Year of experience

          .    BE or B.Tech (Com Sc, ECE, EE)

·         MCA (with 5 years of Experience)

·         Science Graduate with post graduation done in Com Sc, Statistic, Physics (with good programming background)

·         3 to 7 years of experience
