About this position:

• Customize the company's IP to fit customer requirements

• Help partially develop and debug customer applications (Develop special RTL blocks for customers)

• Help customers optimize designs' timing and/or power and create validation plans for chip (and board) design

• Train customers on using the company's Tools and enablers

• Provide technical support to customers and FAEs in pre-sales architecture/design activities

• Provide support FAEs in post-design activities

• Work with Management to escalate feedback and issues

Required Skills and Experience:

• BSEE or equivalent and 3 years of related experience.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• Real track record of hands-on in FPGA or ASIC design implementation (RTL Coding, Validation)

• Expert knowledge of VHDL/Verilog HDLs and tools/flows (Synthesis, Place & Route, Simulation, Static Timing Analysis, …)

• Expert in writing, debugging, and documenting IPs

• Very good board bring-up and debug/diagnostic skills

• Basic knowledge/Familiarity with ARM processors – preferably Cortex-M3 or M1- is a plus

• Analog experience and knowledge is a plus

• Vertical Market Applications Experience is a real plus

• Design experience in C/C++ is a plus
