Roles & Responsibilities:
We are seeking seasoned software engineers, to join our team of professionals in building the next gneration of Decision Management Tools. This is a unique opportunity to participate as a senior member of a skilled and creative product development team designing, developing and delivering the next generation of Decision Management Tools. Our DM Tools portfolio of products include innovative and best in class Business Rules Management System, Analytics, Simulation and Optimization suite.
Take responsibility for refining and implementing functional requirements: scoping, detailed design, effort estimation, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance and support.
Participate in all aspects of an iterative software development process including design, coding and reviews.
The candidate should be a quick learner and open to learning new technologies in related areas and must be a hands-on individual contributor to the development effort.
This position requires solid skills in Java and a breadth of internet technologies.
Accomplished software developer, with excellent programming skills and mastery over Java to the level of expert with 6+ years of commercial software development.
Expert level proficiency with web based applications development, UI technologies and Frameworks such as YUI, Spring, Hibernate, Struts 2, JSON, Flash, JSP, XML, SOAP, Servlets, AJAX etc
Expert level proficiency in Object-Oriented design, development techniques and direct UI development programming experience.
Proficiency in Eclipse based development and Eclipse Plug-in development highly desirable.
Proficiency in Business Rules Management Systems highly desirable.
Proficiency in distributed computing and web technologies like J2EE
Awareness of software development lifecycle processes and quality management
Awareness of design documentation and usage of modeling using UML
Awareness of data modeling concepts and RDBMS
Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Masters in Computer Science/Application or Bachelors in Computer science/Engineering or related areas from Institutions of repute.
- 7+ years in commercial software development.
- Experience with software product/Tools development.
- Direct U.I Programming Experience.
- Proficiency with Business Rules Management Systems highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Eclipse Plug-in development highly desirable.
- Masters in Computer Science/Application or Bachelors in Computer science/Engineering or related areas from Institutions of repute.
