Skills Required:
The purpose of this
position is to provide TADIG analysis support to clients on a daily basis;
performing activities related to the scheduling and analysis of IREG testing
between GSM Roaming Partners. Roaming Testing Analyst will work under general
supervision.
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:
GSM Industry
Adhere to the key
processes associated with establishing GSM roaming services as required by the
GSMA
Monitor GSM InfoCentre
website for issues requiring updates to documentation,
Participate in BARG
Assist with special and
or/GSM related projects as needed
Provide general CDR and
CD/TD TAP file and document expertise
Support
Complete outcollect and
incollect TADIG analysis for new operators, including coordination between the
billing vendor and Data Clearinghouse
Verify the Roaming
Partner information, tariffs, and SDR rate is producing accurate and complete
billing output in the appropriate TAP format
Set-up and test the
communication and configuration with the chosen Data Clearing House
Exchange AA.14 billing
and transfer data with roaming partners for TAP set up and validation
Provide general
troubleshooting and support to roaming partners and billing vendors
Perform analysis on TAP
files for but not limited to the following services: Voice, SMS, GPRS, CAMEL
Cross-functional team
Coordinate with Roaming
Department to prepare all groups for roaming analysis
Meet and exceed team
member expectations by providing service and department teamwork
Training
Train clients on TADIG
analysis if require
Position Requirements:
Technical Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in
telecommunications, IT or business related field preferred (experience can
replace the degree requirement)
2+ year’s experience in
wireless roaming
Basic computer skills
such as MS Office Suite and Internet functions
TAP Analysis Tool kit
Strong understanding of
GSM standards
Ability to identify and
resolve GSM and TADIG related problems
