IREG Testing/Support opening with a product develoment company, Bangalore.

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 2 - 8 years.

General Summary:

The IREG Tester is responsible for performing IREG testing (CARRIER_SHORT) based on GSM testing standards.  Primarily focusing on the network set-up and testing of the roaming partners to implement new roaming agreements; using the established IREG testing methodology by participating in, and supporting all required activities to ensure all process controls are adhered to and completed in a timely manner.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

•  
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of IREG testing procedures and adhere to all business processes and GSM standards
  • Provide switching & signaling support for Roaming Partner set up
  • Perform switch/network translations for the establishment of roaming services
  • Schedule and perform all IREG testing for any new roaming partners required by CARRIER_SHORT
  • Troubleshoot and evaluate SS7 messages when roaming services are failing
  • Troubleshoot switching, SGSN/GGSN, and SMSC as it relates to roaming

Job Requirements:

• General
  • Excellent experience working in a IREG testing environment preferred
  • 2+ year’s experience in areas of technical customer support, problem management and roaming implementation
