IREG Tester Opening with Product MNC in Bangalore

Requirements :

Experience : 5 – 7 Years

Qualification : BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA

Location :– Bangalore

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• 100% Support

• 1. Assist in the development and maintenance of IREG testing procedures and adhere to all business processes and GSM standards

  2. Provide switching & signaling support for Roaming Partner set up

  3. Perform switch/network translations for the establishment of roaming services

  4. Schedule and perform all IREG testing for any new roaming partners required by CARRIER_SHORT

  5. Troubleshoot and evaluate SS7 messages when roaming services are failing

  6. Troubleshoot switching, SGSN/GGSN, and SMSC as it relates to roaming

  7. Manage test plan and schedule

Job Requirements:

• General

• 5+ years Software Engineering experience, including 4+ years experience working in a IREG testing environment preferred

• 5+ year’s experience in areas of technical customer support, problem management and roaming implementation

• Formal software testing methodologies

• Integration testing

• Conformance testing

• Module and Functional testing

• Document inspections & reviews

• Strong troubleshooting and error analysis skills

• Strong understanding of GSM standards and testing methods

• Required Interpersonal Skills

  • Exceptional customer service skills and demeanor, along with the innovative ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical clients.

  • Excellent analytical, multitasking, and communication skills (both verbal and written),

  • Detail orientation and familiar with analysis and troubleshooting techniques

  • Good control and follow-up skills

  • Proactive Listening

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Good decision making skills

  • The ability to excel in a team environment is essential under limited supervision

  • Good interpersonal skills

• Required Project Management Skills

  • Strong prioritization skills in a fast paced, time sensitive environment

  • Demonstrates accountability for resolution of issues

  • Ability to lead small projects with guidance

  • Project time reporting

  • Estimate/Project risk analysis
