Role & Responsibilities:

Responsible for delivery of end-to-end testing activities of Eclipse RCP based applications
Plan, coordinate,  track tasks to ensure completeness of testing
Prepare estimates on testing effort, resources and schedules
Strategize the testing of Application under test upon understanding from stakeholders
Define and review test strategy, test cases and test data to maximize defect detection
Make necessary test configurations/settings of the application / test tools
Define and implement Automation strategy for application with Automation Testers
Perform functional, integration, performance, usability and other selected tests
Report defects, metrics and test activities summary in a timely manner.
Analyze the trends of test execution, and defect detection to improve the test process
Define strategies to implement improvements in test practices

Experience:

8-12 years of experience in Manual Testing of applications
1-3 years of experience in Eclipse RCP based applications
Experienced in working in Agile SCRUM based development team(s)
Experience in test strategy/test design/ test execution / planning for Eclipse-RCP based applications
Worked in all phases of Software Test Life Cycle (STLC)
