Position:Validation Engineer

Qualification:B.E,M.E

Location:Bangalore

• Perform manual validation of cordless / WiFi devices
• Independently perform entire Test life cycle
• Independently drive automation 4-7yrs
• Experience in product Testing of DECT/VoIP/CATiq/Mobile handset
• Working knowledge of communication protocols / Telephony / Networking (with
802.11a/b/g/n protocol and VoIP protocols like SIP, RTP and RTCP).
• Experience in test tools and simulators usage
• Experience in design, execution and automation of test cases
• Must possess good scripting language skills (Perl TCL / Tk, Shell scripts) on Linux /Windows platforms
• Experience in DSP testing added advantage
• Should posses strong knowledge in multimedia application testing in embedded platforms
• Should have worked with various speech, audio and video codecs including and not limited to G711, G729, G722, G726, MP3, AAC, H.263,H.263+, H.264.
• Knowledge of test life cycle, various testing methodologies and test techniques is must.
• Should perform both manual and automated testing.
• Knowledge about Multimedia framework like Qtopia or Android is preferred

Should possess strong communication skills
• Should be highly self motivated and a strong team player
• Must be able to travel outside India
• Good exposure to complete software life cycle and software engineering best
practices
• BE / B Tech in Electronics / Telecommunication / Computer Science
• Ability to work under aggressive project schedule
• Attitude to learn quickly and be flexible to work across modules
