Responsibilities:
Design and development of IP/ Data (wireless data) networking Protocols software subsystems.
Implementing standards extensions to IP routing protocols.
Implementing wireless data networking protocols like GTP.
Help the development team achieve its goals for software delivery
Work with customers to ensure their satisfaction with IP/Protocols related features

Requirements:
Experience with developing IP data or wireless data networking protocols such as GTP
Experience with tunneling protocols such as GRE, IP-IP or L2TP is a plus
7 years testing complex network / Telecommunications Protocol /wireless topologies that includes 3GPP, and RNC
7 years of experience in embedded development environments using Linux
Expertise in C language programming
Previous experience developing software in a startup environment
Strong team player, can-do attitude
Strong product and customer orientation
BSCS or equivalent plus 10+ years of hands on experience in design/development of embedded software for carrier class systems
Bonus:
Worked on QNX microkernel
Strong knowledge of common TCP/IP protocols including but not limited to: L2 switching, L3 routing, TCP/IP
Familiarity with network security protocols such as IPSec (VPN)
Proficient with Perl, shell scripting.
Experience with python scripting desired
Strong UNIX/Linux skills
Experience with Ixia/Spirent/Tektronix test tools
Knowledge of switching and routing desired.
Working knowledge of one or more source control systems - Perforce, RCS, CVS
