* Setup, maintain, and debug CAD tools and environment.
    * Install and resolve global EDA tool licenses and issues.
    * Monitor EDA peak license usage with license tracking manager.
    * Create scripts for design, verification, and layout engineers to simplify repetitive activities.
    * Responsible for revision control tools for design management.
    * Manage and optimize job queuing system for grid computing.
    * Participate in the architecture, organization, and development of CAD/Design flows.
    * Work with cross-functional team member to develop solutions and solve CAD issues.

    * BSCS/BSEE Degree
    * 3+ years of work experience
    * Familiar with UNIX and Linux environments (RHEL4 and Solaris 9/10)
    * Familiar with setting up EDA tools from Cadence, Mentor, Magma, or     Synopsys.
    * Experience with installing, and managing EDA tool licenses using flexlm.
    * Must know how to write SHELL (e.g. csh/sh/ksh) scripts.
    * Job queuing experience (e.g. LSF, SGE, OGE) preferred.
    * Experience with PERL, tcl, or python a plus.
    * Prior experience of revision control tools (such as DesignSync) preferred.
    * Some knowledge of system administration a plus.
    * Work with end-users on creating solutions to general CAD problems and provide necessary training/support.
