Educational qualification:

Engineering graduate (any branch) with a minimum of 60% aggregate (first class)

Respond to technical software problems reported by our client's internal and external customers (over email, phone and onsite support depending on requirement)
Analyze and trouble shoot software problems
Deploy STEPS methodology to diagnose problems, identify their root cause and provide quick workaround or solution.
Work with Business Units and software development organizations to help identify and develop permanent solutions
Organize conference calls with customers and local team to explain the root cause/solution.
Author technical bulletins and alerts to notify field/ customers/ users on potential problems, and their preventive/ containment solutions
Maintain technical documentation and manuals
Review software project artifacts including functional specifications, requirements/ design specification, and release notes and own software projects during the development life cycle

 

 


Mandatory Skills :
Excellent logical and analytical skills
Flair for trouble shooting technical problems
Excellent communication skills, both oral & written
Computer Architecture/Operating system Knowledge
Willingness to work in shifts
Willingness to sign service agreement
