Head Sales & Business Development (Mobile domain)
Location : Singapore (only Singapore candidates)
Specifically, she or he will be responsible for:
• Developing and executing business development strategies and sales plans for our mobile and SaaS offerings in Asia-Pacific, mostly focused on top-line growth, but also ROI.
• Developing strong relationships with and managing the sales operations of large-scale regional and global partnerships to create value for each party
• Acting as a market pioneer, building the business from scratch to $100M+.
• Innovating in the business model and/or go-to-market as appropriate, while also incorporating best practices from other businesses across our client and from other companies.
• Closely collaborating with other team members and a set of cross-functional business unit colleagues to drive new market entry and revenue generation.
• Demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit and interest in creating new business and uncovering untapped market potential.
• Providing thought leadership, innovation in market development, and analytical firepower.
• Guiding a combined direct and virtual team in the execution of that plan.
He/she will have a track record of success in working within the Asian business culture or with Asian market leaders.
Qualifications :
• More than 10 years of work experience with new market development, including sales, business operations, strategy and business development.
• Proven track record of delivering high sales impact and growth, including deals with large partners
• A passion for working in multiple markets in Asia Pacific
• Strong problem-solving, business development, sales skills, and analytical orientation with the ability to innovate and analyze alternative solutions
• Demonstrated experience as a true self-starter that can quickly and independently assess business requirements and become a trusted and integral part of the executive team
• Ability to partner and collaborate across organizational boundaries with experience working effectively in a matrix environment.
• A leader-teacher: thrives in an environment where team members continuously learn from and teach each other.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in order to interact with potential strategic partners, acquisition targets, end customers and internal senior management as needed.
• Tenacity & tolerance for ambiguity
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout Asia Pacific on a fairly regular basis
