Roles and responsibility for
Exterior Design Engineer, Oxford 2, Pune:
Job Responsibilities
- First contact for engineering/ CAD level support from supplier
- Assure data transfer between Daimler and supplier
- Train and develop supplier to use Daimler methods for Catia modeling and drawings.
- Train supplier in the Daimler Change management process
- Research and provide Specifications, MB Norms to supplier
- Documentation related to release and change management system
Requirements for

Education & Training
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Automotive)
Skill Requirements
- CAD CATIA V5 Engineer with working level knowledge of various automotive exterior components
- Experience in design of sheet metal parts, Bumper, Hood, Splash panel, Rear view mirror, Bezel, Grab Handle, Spoiler, Air deflector, Foot step, Fender, Insulation / seals
- Previous work experience with European automotive OEM’s will be added advantage
- Knowledge of global quality standard requirements. Knowledge of Daimler AG, specific quality standards will be an added advantage.
- CAD Data Exchange tools know how support for supplier.
- Knowledge of change management systems
- Good communication skills
