Responsibilities:

• Support Current and New product design & development projects in the area of CAE simulations and validation of structures.
• Perform digital validation of structural components at a component level & at subsystem level with multibody dynamics.
• Perform Fatigue analysis, and provide life estimation of components/sub-systems using reliability programs.
• Be capable of performing kinematic analysis of linkages, mechanisms of  layout designs and draw inference on loading conditions for FEA
• Prepare methodology documents, best practices for carrying out FEA, perform hand calculations to verify results, provide design improvement recommendations.
• Prepare detailed reports, present it in design reviews, and build rapport with our client's engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product design engineers to understand the design guidelines and provide quick and easy design solutions based on FEA studies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 6-8 years preferably in Construction or off highway equipment, in the field of FEA of Structures.
• Proficient in either ANSYS Workbench/ABAQUS & ANSYS Design modeler tool for simulation and pre-processing.
• Strong knowledge in Fatigue analysis (ex: Fe-Safe, MSC fatigue etc) and reliability studies.
• Basic knowledge of Kinematic Analysis and mechanisms.
• Strong knowledge of Strength of Materials.
• Graduate degree required.
• Strong knowledge of MS tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Project.
• Go-getter attitude with strong belief in team work and effective planning.

• Good knowledge of PRO-E/Unigraphics/Solid works.
• Basic Mechanical Design Fundamentals.
