• Leads and manages a team of engineers to affect one or more aspects of an engineering organization.
• Provides technical direction to the team and manages various developments effectively to meet milestones.
• Plans and directs the work of subordinates by estimating manpower; monitoring progress; and evaluating project outcome.
• Makes appropriate adjustments to maintain project goals, when necessary.
• Assures that work performed follows generally stated objectives and is completed on time and within budget by developing a feasible project plan to produce the requirements of the product definition.
• Manages team development and maintains administration responsibilities including responsibility for all aspects of supervision, staffing, appraisals, administrative issues within the project/department and adheres to all corporate policies and budget constraints.
• Responsible for ensuring the quality delivery of world class carrier-class platforms.
• Applies extensive functional and project experience, is a recognized expert in a discipline or functional area and/or has breadth of expertise across disciplines / projects / functions.
• Recognized as a subject matter expert in a product area and provides technical ownership

- Expertise in 3G and/or 4G wireless technologies like WiMax  and/or LTE packet core
- Expertise in IPv4/IPv6 routing and networking protocols

- Experience in delivery of a carrier grade packet core box to a major service provider

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
10+ years engineering experience including 2+ years supervisory
experience.
Bachelors of Science in relevant field or equivalent; Masters of Science or Masters of Business Administration desired.
