Role & Responsibilities: Position Description
Design, develop, and implement web-based Java applications to support business requirements. Follow established life cycle methodologies, create and keep up-to-date design documents, and perform program coding and testing. Resolve technical issues through investigation, debugging and research. Interact with engineers on the QA and Product Support staff, providing technical support while applications are evaluated. Resolve product deficiencies identified by the Product Support group and QA staff.
Experience/Qualification:
Required Experience: Minimum Qualifications
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 5+ years of programming experience.
Experience with Java, JSF, Websphere and Hibernate
Graphical User Interface design, HTML, DHTML, XML, XSL and
CSS.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Good oral and written communications skills.
Ability to work alone or collaboratively.
Preferred Experience:
Working knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2.
Design/architecture skills, UML , Visio
Experience with IBM Rational Suite, SOA, Servlet,
Experience in Financial Sector & Multi-time zone
development teams
