• 4+ years of experience in CATIA V5.
• Overall 5+ years of domain experience in design of chassis enclosures such as spare wheel attachments, battery enclosures, prop shafts guards etc.
• OEM experience required
• Good vehicle Engineering Design and Vehicle Packaging Experience.
• Good communication skills in Japanese along with English proficiency

Education

• BE or Masters in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in CATIA V5.

Skill Requirements

• Proficiency in CatiaV5: GSD, Part Design, Sketcher, assembly Design, Sheet-metal Design, Drafting, DMU.
• Conduct feasibility study of Vehicle packaging
• Good communication skills in Japanese along with English proficiency

• Cab mounts design & packaging studies, kinematic analysis for cab mounts
• Concept feasibility studies
• Design for manufacture & assembly
• Conversant with manufacturing techniques of sheet metal forming & welding
