Staff Software Engineer

- Provide technical leadership throughout all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including brand new solutions and enhancements to existing products

- Provide proactive guidance and review all engineers’ work within the assigned scope
- Arbitrate disagreements and make decisions while maintaining effective working relationships. Resolve technological disagreements with informed, rational debate.
- Mentor / coach other software and QA engineers to facilitate their professional development
- Influence and communicate effectively with non-technical staff including senior product and business management
- Instill a positive sense of energy and enthusiasm in teams through role modeling and leadership
- Applied project management skills and the ability to effectively manage high performing teams by being a charismatic motivator and thought leader
- Confidently make high impact decisions despite incomplete or ambiguous information. Communicate the decision and the logic behind the decision.
- Use multiple channels to gather feedback, including individuals, leaders and customers. Regularly self-assesses, and personally learn and grow in the process.
